A Great Quote
"No one has yet fully realized the wealth of sympathy, kindness and generosity hidden in the soul of a child. The effort of every true education should be to unlock that treasure." ~Emma Goldman, author
Thank you for your support throughout the course. I love that we have been able to go through our first semester together!!! The quote is such a thought provoking quote in many ways, but the first thing that came to my mind was the innocence that children bring us. Sometimes I think that we, adults, tend to forget the little things, and it is through children that we are able to re-live our memories, childhood, etc. It truly is a treasure!!! Thank you again for sharing! Happy holidays, and good luck to you in the future!!
Shelley, I believe your quote has a very special meaning. Often spending time with children is precious and their essence of innocence helps professionals in our field appreciate them as well as encouraging our personal passion for the field. I think this quote partly describes children’s natural well-being. Thank you for sharing. I wanted to personally let you know I have enjoyed reading your posts and I feel you have a special way of opening my eyes to accepting some of the difficult circumstances that young children face it has given me a new light. Especially since my thoughts tend to think that every child in the world is fortunate. Thank you again, and I wish you much success throughout your future studies.
Shelley, I always love reading your discussion posts, you have such a gentle and kind spirit and I always learn something new from you. I look forward to more classes together in the future, thank you for you positive support. Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!
